How do I make a reservation with Jah Know Tours?
We are so excited to escort you throughout Jamaica. To make a reservation with us, you can either pay for your booking in full or put a deposit towards it to reserve the date. To reserve your seat on our group adventures, click the brown “Island Adventure Package" button at the bottom of the page. To build your own private and custom package, you can click the brown "Build Custom Package" button at the bottom of the page.
What information do I need to make a reservation?
To make a reservation, you will require the full name of your group representative, a contact number, e-mail, travel dates, and payment information.
How do I reserve my travel date(s)?
Payment is required in order to secure your reservation date. For island group adventures, you must make payment before the advertised deadline. For custom packages, guests have the option to reserve by making a full payment, or by putting a deposit towards the reservation and paying the remaining balance two weeks prior to travel. To reserve by using a deposit, select the "Reserve Date (deposit)" add-on feature. Please note that all deposits are non-refundable. For more information, see our payments and deposit policy as outlined below.
Can I put a deposit towards my reservation?
Yes! For your deposit, the charge will vary depending on the number of guests and/or package selected. You can calculate your deposit cost by choosing the "Reserve Date (deposit)" add-on feature, and entering the number of guests you expect to join you. Once a deposit is provided, your tour date is secured! For those reserving adventure packages through the use of a deposit, all outstanding balances are due two weeks prior to travel.
Can I pay for my booking or upgrade my reservation in person?
Jah Know Tours only accepts payments via the methods outlined on our digital platform, unless otherwise approved in writing by an authorized manager.
How many people are included in my reservation?
The number of guests included in your reservation depends on which package you select during your checkout process. Our group adventures are priced to reserve for one person. Our custom packages include options to add up to a maximum of six (6) guests.
Have a group of 7 or more? No problem. You can reserve your travel dates and start building your custom package by choosing the "Reserve Date (deposit)" add-on feature.
I am a solo traveler - can I make a reservation for one person?
Of course! We love to tour the island, no matter how small the crew. You can join our group adventures by clicking the brown “Island Adventure Package" button at the bottom of the page or book a private and custom package by clicking the brown "Build Custom Package" button at the bottom of the page.
That said, Jah Know Tours aims to keep prices low, so we offer group packages to make them more affordable for our guests. Groups of two or more receive discounted rates, so find a friend during your travels to get a better deal!

Are activities included in my package?
This depends on which activities you select. The majority of activities listed can be built into your package!
It is important to note that time frames, costs, and availability determine which can be built into packages. We are able to determine final itineraries once guests confirm their group size and adventure date(s). Activity selections that surpass the package maximum will require approval; requests for approval will be issued approx. 1-2 business days after completing checkout, so there are no surprises!
Can I book activities without booking an adventure package?
Yes, the custom activities may be booked separately from adventure packages. However, in this case, guests must add the "Reserve Date (deposit)" feature to confirm the booking. If transportation is required for your party, shuttle transfer services are an additional feature we offer to get you where you want to go. Be sure to add these features at checkout.
How many activities can I do in one day?
We understand that while on vacation, everything is on the table! Sometimes it can be difficult to fit all our desires into one package, however, we ask that guests consider a maximum of three activities per day- this is so that we can best account for travel time, traffic, meal times, and unexpected stops along the adventure’s way!
Please note the activities we offer vary in timeframes, as a result, some may take place on an entirely different day than your adventure package. Guests will be made aware of any potential scheduling concerns in the itinerary and will be sent requests for approvals accordingly.

How do the custom features work?
Tour features are optional add-ons, designed to enhance your overall experience. You can select as many features as you like, so each guest can have a customized experience. The features include add-on options such as food and beverage menus, airport or shuttle transfers, private security accommodations, and more.

Where will I meet Jah Know Tours staff for my adventure?
Jah Know Tours staff will meet you at the airport arrivals exit/pick-up area, look out for the logo!
Jah Know Tours staff will meet you at a pre-determined, public, and taxi accessible location, within the parish of your adventure. You will be informed of this location a minimum of two (2) weeks prior to your travel date. If your accommodations are located outside of the parish selected, shuttle transfer services are an additional feature we offer to get you where you want to go. Be sure to add this custom feature at checkout.
Jah Know Tours staff will meet you at the activity location. You will be informed of the address prior to your travel date. If in need of transportation, shuttle transfers and personal driver services are additional features we offer to get you where you want to go. Be sure to add this custom feature at checkout.
Personal driver services:
Jah Know Tours staff will meet you at a custom location of your choosing, or at your hotel/resort. For custom pick-ups, the location must be an area that can be located using Google Maps. For hotel pick-ups, there are typically designated pickup locations. Alert the front desk 30 minutes prior to departure time that a driver from Jah Know Tours will be coming for you, and provide them with your full name. Our staff will meet you by the main entrance / designated pick-up zone.
What currencies does Jah Know Tours accept?
At this time, Jah Know Tours accepts payments in the Jamaican Dollar (JMD) and the United States Dollar (USD) via our online checkout platform. We are working to add more currencies soon! All payments must be submitted in full two (2) weeks prior to your adventure date(s).
To make a payment in USD, during checkout select PayPal or a Credit/Debit card as the method of payment. To pay in JMD, during checkout, select "Cash Payment", and follow the instructions to submit proof of payment accordingly.
I am a Jamaican - can I get local pricing?
At Jah Know Tours, we are proud to say locals of Jamaica get special perks! To get local pricing on your custom adventure, during checkout enter coupon code "LANDWELOVE". Local pricing for group island adventures will vary; the pricing and method of payment to receive pricing will be advertised via social media. What happens in the event of bad weather?
Jah Know Tours operates rain or shine. Island life can see a downpour one minute, and scorching suns the next! While the weather can be known to impact traffic and water clarity conditions, we pride ourselves on our love for nature and experiencing the authenticity of the island in the sun and drizzle alike. In cases of inclement weather, guests may be contacted to make alternative arrangements for activities or reschedule the reservation to the next available date.
Does Jah Know Tours allow pet animals on tour?
Jah Know Tours has an official pet mascot for our tour adventures! Her name is Eden the dog, and she is trained as an emotional support animal. If you are lucky enough, she will accompany you as a guide along your tour. If you have an allergy to dogs, ensure to make our staff aware of this prior to your adventure.
At this time we do not allow other animals or pets aboard tours, as we cannot guarantee their level of training and comfortability during transport.

How much money should I bring along for tips and souvenirs?
Souvenirs can range from $5 to $50+ depending on the value of what is being purchased. As for tipping, the amount is up to you. For guided tours, guests typically give 10-20% of the trip cost. If you have outstanding guides on your tour, feel free to give to each of them according to your heart's desire! A giving heart goes a long way.

International Travel Policy & Liability
You are responsible for ensuring that you meet foreign entry requirements and that your travel documents, such as passports and visas (transit, business, tourist, and otherwise), are in order and any other foreign entry requirements are met. We have no special knowledge regarding foreign entry requirements or travel documents. We urge customers to review travel prohibitions, warnings, announcements, and advisories issued by the relevant governments prior to booking travel to international destinations.
Passport and Visa: You must consult the relevant Embassy or Consulate for this information. Requirements may change and you should check for up-to-date information before booking and departure. We accept no liability if you are refused entry onto a flight or into any country due to your failure to carry the correct and adequate passport, visa, or other travel documents required by any airline, authority, or country, including countries you may just be transiting through. This includes all stops made by the aircraft, even if you do not leave the aircraft or airport.
Health: Recommended inoculations for travel may change and you should consult your doctor for current recommendations before you depart. It is your responsibility to ensure that you meet all health entry requirements, obtain the recommended inoculations, take all recommended medication, and follow all medical advice in relation to your trip.
Disinsection: Although not common, most countries reserve the right to disinsect aircraft if there is a perceived threat to public health, agriculture or environment. The World Health Organization and the International Civil Aviation Organization have approved the following disinsection procedures: (1) spray the aircraft cabin with an aerosolized insecticide while passengers are on board or (2) treat the aircraft's interior surfaces with a residual insecticide while passengers are not on board. Passholders who reserve travel with Jah Know Tours agree to act in accordance with the Code of Conduct. Jah Know Tours reserves the right to refuse service and cancel reservations without refund to passholder's who are in violation of the code of conduct.
The passholder will act in a respectful manner towards staff and guests.
The passholder will act in a manner to keep persons free from harm to best of their ability.
The passholder will act in a manner that observes and keeps the laws of Jamaica.
The passholder will act in accordance with the authority of security guide while on route.
The passholder will act in accordance with the policies outlined by Jah Know Tours.
The passholder will not partake in reckless behaviour to endanger guests or staff.
The passholder will not perform any harrasment, abuse or assault, bullying, misconduct, discrimination or illegal activity.

Jah Know Tours uses digital technology and digital media for operational needs. Any digital content captured by Jah Know Tours devices will be considered property of Jah Know Tours and may be used for marketing and/or promotional purposes. By partaking in services, the passholder grants Jah Know Tours the absolute and irrevocable right and permission, in respect of digital content recorded, to use, re-use, publish, and re-publish the same in whole or in part, individually or in conjunction with other content, and in conjunction with any printed matter, or electronic matter, in any and all media now or hereafter known, and for any purpose whatsoever; and to the passholder's name in conjunction therewith if the Jah Know Tours so chooses.
By partaking in services, you hereby release and discharge Jah Know Tours from any and all claims and demands arising out of or in connection with the use of the content, including without limitation any and all claims for libel or invasion of privacy.This authorization and release shall also inure to the benefit of the heirs, legal representatives, licensees, and assigns of the Companies.

Deposit balances are credited towards adventure packages, features, and/or activities. Full payment of remaining balance is due fourteen (14) days prior to reserved date(s). Late payments may be subject to a 15% late payment fee. Guests with overdue/unpaid balances within seven (7) days of reservation will have considered forfeited their deposit and will have their reservation date(s) cancelled; forefeited deposits are not refundable or exchangable.
Cancellations, Refunds, and Exchange Policy
Adventure packages and reservations have a lifetime guarantee. We understand that unforseeable things can happen during your vacation, so while we do not offer refunds at this time, we are more than happy to accommodate your need to reschedule your package, within reason. To request an exchange for a cancellation, contact us with prior notice. In the event of cancellation with prior notice packages are exchangeable and valid for the next available date, subject to our terms. In the event of cancellation with insufficient notice, packages are invalidated and are ineligible for exchange. A maximum of two (2) late notices reschedules, or (1) same-day notice reschdule are permitted prior to package invalidation. Should any portion or leg of the package be used, it will be considered invalidated for exchange or later use.
Notice is defined as:
Prior notice: over fourteen days
Prior notice (late): within seven days
Prior notice (same-day): within one day (24 hours)
Insufficient notice: under three (3) hours
Features & Activities
Tour add-ons such as features and activities are optional services.
Activities may be reserved separate from adventure packages. Features may be used solely in conjunction with tour packages and/or activities. Features and activities are not exchangable or refundable. Jah Know Tours reserves the right to outsource features and activities to third-party associates for service completion. Activities booked through third-parties may not be rescheduled for future dates.
Upgrades, Shuttle Service, & Airport Transfers
It is the passholder's responsibility to advise Jah Know Tours representatives of all delays or time restrictions that may impede on schedule of events. The passholder will have deemed to forfeit their transportation should they not be ready for transportation within 30 minutes of the scheduled time. Under no circumstances will Jah Know Tours be held or considered liable for missed flights or connections as a result of weather conditions, traffic conditions, passholder's timeliness, or other unforseeable events.
In the event a transport upgrade is not readily available for the passholder on the reservation date, a refund shall be issued solely for the cost of the transport upgrade; alternative arrangements shall be made for transportation at the standard level of service.
Trained Animals & Pets
Jah Know Tours trains animals to accompany staff and guests on tour adventures. Trained animals may serve as guard animals or emotional support animals; such animals are considered property of Jah Know Tours and may not be removed from premises. Jah Know Tours animals may accompany passholders' during select tour packages and/or activities; passholders are not permitted to feed these animals at any time. All activities related to animals must occur within Jah Know Tours property or tour operations. If you have an allergy to any animal, ensure to make our staff aware of this during your confirmation call. It is the passholder's responsibility to advise Jah Know Tours of all allergies. Other animals and/or pets are not permitted aboard tours or activities.
Menu & Beverage Policy
Meals, Beverages, & Snacks
It is the passholder's responsibility to advise Jah Know Tours of all allergies, food restrictions, and dietary preferences. Snacks provided include fruits, vegetables, and snack bars. Snacks are served on route are provided according to availability and tour operating times and/or routes. Beverage refills are provided as quantities last. Menu items and/or beverages may be used solely in conjunction with adventure and/or excursion packages. All consumption of menu items and beverages must occur within Jah Know Tours property and may not be removed from premises.
